Down the rabbit hole i go

Sorry for the lack of the perverbial "content" but ive been busy working on school projects and i cant seem to remember to ever scan them in.
I did for the Rescuers reverse storyboard, and the only reason i remembered to do that was because i had to do it near the computer in the first place.
There'll probably come a time where ill just scan in a bulk of my prouder assignments and show them out, but who knows.

Not much else to say, so ill end it here, short and sweet.

Oh and by the way, thse are the flash tutorials i was talking about the other day:

Back to blogging

Yeah i know its been a particular while since ive last blogged anything. Well kinda sorta not really. I mean its been a few weeks, possibly a month, either way its not that bad at all, haha.

So im updating this in particular because i have hot linked my Virb blog with m,y Livejournal, so anything i update in my livejournal will apear at Virb as well, and Scribefire (previously Performancing) a firefox addon allows me to update my blog without ever actually having to go to it or anything, directly from any website. Its awesome, so this will encourage me to blog way more often (like back when i first started with Performancing)

So up on Virb is part 1 of a series of video tutorials im making, these ones in particular are "Doing Cool Thigns With Flash" and in this first part i talk about how to construct basic Sprite animations, using techniques that really can be applied anywhere, i used sprites for two reasons:
1. Because i find the majority of sprite animations could be seriously alot better than they are, and are more than likely due to inexperience or laziness
2. Because its a fully ready source of animation that i didn't have to draw out previously beforehand.

Either way its a good tutorial that doesn't cover the basics. Rather it holds your hand through the process. If your looking for video tutorials on "The Basics of This" and "The interface to that" then these wont help you, i figure "Why add to the 90,000 of them out there?". But instead of teaching like "Fundamentals" or stuff like that, i show you HOW to do THINGS that can be APPLICABLE, givnig situations and scenarios and coming out a winner.
Anyways these are fun to make and i will cotninue to make them.

Thanks Virb for proving a space that isn't littered with 8 year olds who are pretending to be 25 by swearing at me or calling me a nerd or whatever for posting a video. Not that i get offended by those comments bu rather they make me hang my head in shame at the pittiful ness of the internet community swarming the likes of Youtube and Newgrounds.
"YOU SUCK! DONT EVER ANIMATE AGAIN! I HATE YOU! YOUR UGLY!" and blah blah are crap ive seen and heard many times before. And i find it counter-productive.

Would you love a Monster Man?

Blogging really quickly to link you to a site that contains all the videos (and in awesome quality) to my favorite band: Lordi.

Lordi Music videos

These guys didn't win the Eurovision 2006 contest by a landslide for nothing.

Hello world

Well this being my first blog here, im just going to say hi, and i hope to update regularly.

I feel it to be slightly impersonal to type my life in the first post so im going to spare the details here and not do that.

On a side note: FireFox rules. I think you already know that.
